01

Certification consultation

For clinicians working toward EMDRIA certification

Structured individual and group consultation that counts toward EMDRIA certification hours. We work your real cases, sharpen your adherence to the eight-phase protocol, and document your hours correctly — so the paperwork is the easy part.

  • Individual and group formats, online
  • Hours documented for EMDRIA requirements
  • Case conceptualization and protocol fidelity
02

Refresher & confidence rebuild

For trained clinicians who have not used EMDR in a while

You were trained, then caseloads, life, or a hard case got in the way. A focused refresher gets the protocol back in your hands — without judgment and without starting over. We review, rehearse, and rebuild your confidence session by session.

  • Protocol tune-up at your pace
  • Scripted practice and live case review
  • Safe space for "I forgot how this goes"
03

The consultant behind EMDR Anchored

Section 02

Kristina Ricker, PhD, LCSW continues to see clients every week, which means the consultation you receive is current, practical, and applicable.

Since 2019 I have practiced EMDR with complex trauma caseloads, and since 2024 I have consulted with clinicians at every stage — freshly trained, mid-certification, and experienced therapists quietly wondering if they still remember the protocol. My job is to make you good at EMDR, and to make the path to certification feel navigable.

How consultation works

No intake maze, no waiting list theatrics. Four steps, and every one of them is built around your actual caseload.

Book your first session
  1. 01

    Book a session

Pick a time that suits your caseload. Sessions run online, so you can join from your office between clients.

  2. 02

    Bring your cases

We work with what is actually on your desk — stuck points, complex presentations, protocol questions, documentation.

  3. 03

    Leave with a plan

Every session ends with clear next steps: what to do with the client, what to practice, and what to bring back.

  4. 04

    Track your hours

Consultation hours are documented as you go, mapped to EMDRIA requirements, ready when you apply.

Common questions

Section 04

Straight answers about certification hours, refreshers, consultation vs. supervision, and who membership is for.

Do your consultation hours count toward EMDRIA certification?+

Yes. Individual and group consultation hours count toward the consultation requirement for EMDRIA certification. Hours are documented for your application.

I was trained years ago and barely used EMDR. Where do I start?+

That is exactly who the refresher track is for. We start with a relaxed protocol review, identify what feels rusty, and rebuild from there. Most clinicians feel ready to use EMDR again within a handful of sessions.

Is consultation the same as supervision or therapy?+

No. Consultation is a professional, collegial service focused on your EMDR skills and cases. It does not replace licensure supervision where required, and it is not psychotherapy.

Who is the membership content for?+

Any professional in a helping field — counselors, social workers, psychologists, coaches, nurses. Some content is EMDR-specific; much of it covers trauma-informed practice and clinician resilience more broadly.
